Learn More About Farmstead...
Farmstead Swim & Racquet Club is located southeast of Naper Boulevard and 75th Street and is easily accessible via River Oak, Fair Oak, Bailey, Lisson and Keim roads. The club is surrounded by walker-friendly residential streets and lies one block north of Madison Junior High Playing fields.
The club consists of 332 member families and offers during the summer months a range of programming -- youth swim team, water polo team, swim lessons, tennis lessons and leagues and social activities. Non-members are welcome to take advantage of the club's swimming and tennis lessons.
Farmstead has operated successfully for more than 25 years under the guidance of involved residents. A voluntary board of directors works with members and employees to maintain the club's infrastructure, budget and programming. To join, members must purchase a bond and in return they retain partial ownership of the facility.
Each year, members pay a membership fee and a capital improvement fee to fund the club's operations and future improvements. Bond prices fluctuate based on availability and demand.
The club's financial activities are administrated year around by the club business manager. The club manager runs the day-to-day operations during the summer months. Farmstead has in recent years recorded one of the highest health department ratings in DuPage County.
